Lame Halloween

My Halloween night was pretty lame. Spent like 8 hours searching and making a costume just to use it for one party. I couldn't even get Rich and John to come out. Something about class at 8 am and a midterm in Physics at 8 am also. What's that all about? Sounds like someone needs to get their priorities straight. I even brought music, candy, and booze for everyone! But no, they would not give in. Well, I did get Rich to not do his homework and sleep in and miss his 8 am class.

The night was spent watching some DZ's play flag football, sippin' on a couple beers, and a good amount Guitar Hero 3. John eventually left me to study for his midterm. So it was just Rich and I. All of sudden I got extremely hungry. We ordered some food for a night snack which consisted of 20 buffalo wings, California fries, and an appetizer platter. California fries are fries baked with bacon sprinkled over them with a river of ranch dressing and a mound of mozzarella cheese on top of that. The appetizer consists of everything fried; two chicken fingers, two jalapeƱo poppers, two onion rings, two mozzarella sticks, with some french fries. I guess I just wanted to satisfy my need to get crunked and extremely greasy unhealthy heart attack food was the next best thing.

Of course Rich spilled some delicious wing sauce on his own couch that he pretty much just cleaned with a carpet cleaner...

Ugh, I should probably go for a run or something. Pretty sure I shortened my life after consuming that meal. I guess I could dance? There was a disco ball...

Holla Halloween

Cool, for my first blog entry I guess I'll talk about this Halloween party. Saturday rolls around and i get a phone call from John asking me if i am going to this party. I wasn't sure because the invite said that you had to have a costume and at that point I did not so it didn't look like I was going. Turned out that John did not have a costume either along with Rich and Graham. They were on their way to KOP Mall to see if they could find some stuff to do a Family Guy thing.

So I meet them over at KOP. When I got there, they just got out of the Halloween Adventure store and said they didn't find anything. The three of them then said they were hungry and went to the food court to get some food. I already ate so i didn't get anything. After that we went to a couple more stores to find ourselves sitting at the Microbrewery waiting for a beer. I got this crazy pumpkin spice beer, it was like a pumpkin muffin with alcohol. We left the mall to head to my house to find some more Halloween stores.

Found one, drove to its location but couldn't find it. But while on the road I remember of another Halloween store in the area but wasn't exactly sure where. We eventually found it, and there was this crazy pale girl dressed up as a pirate outside doing her thing for the store....maybe if i had a costume with a mask i would do it...but again this store didn't have anything they were looking for. I went ahead a bought some fake blood, white, and black make up...so i could at least a be zombie or something or at least look like i tried to dress up. On the way back we then found the Halloween Adventure store we were looking for originally. We checked it out, and again Rich did not find the giant chicken suit he was looking for.

Finally Rich gave up on the idea of dressing up like family guy. He suggested we go to the party as a Girls Gone Wild camera crew. We basically just spent 5 hours driving/looking around for nothing so far. Michaels was the next store where we bought 3 black t shirts, a white shirt, a styrofoam cone, and some photo transfer paper. But one of us had to be a girl, luckily John volunteered. The Montgomery mall was next. We found a Halloween Adventure Store there. Picked up some styrofoam boobs and a wig.

Rich and Graham head off into the city to start making logos. I went back to the house for a bit to pick up a few things. We then printed the junx and i used my sweet ironing skills to make some ridiculous t shirts. Rich then made a mic boom out of a broom handle and a piece of styrofoam.

This whole process of running around making junx took like 8 to 9 hours with a couple beers in between. Here is the finished product:

I know I could have made this blog much shorter, but I'm really bored and went into as much detail as possible. My sixth grade teacher would hate me for this.
