Anthers Fo' Show

The other day while i was raiding the kitchen for food, my mom called me over share some of her ancient wisdom. She was at the breakfast table and i was only 15 ft away but she insisted that i come over so she could show me something. It was her lilies.

She got them for the Easter dinner and said that she was in a dilemma because when she brought them into the house they started to open already and she didn't want them to open yet. So she stuck them in the garage where it was cooler and they closed back up. So lesson number one, when i don't want my lilies to open...put them in a cool place.
The next thing she wanted to tell me was that when the flowers do open, to prolong the live of the flower and to delay the pedals from wilting...you need to pluck off the anthers from the filaments. She said she learned that from a guy in a flower shop a while back.
Below is a flower with the anthers hanging around... Here is a flower with the anthers removed...i personally think it looks cooler with the anthers, if i cared about flowers of course. After she shared her flower caring secrets with me she only removed the anthers from one flower. She must not care about the other flowers. Bummer..
Well there's your fun flower caring secret for the day...the more you know.

Mariano's Tavern Again

Brent told me that Adrianne was in and he wanted to know if i wanted to hang out with them, since i'm such a good time and all. Brent then asked me if i wanted to go with him to pick her up at the train station...as fun as picking up people at the train station is, i had to pass and said i'd meet up with them later to watch a movie or something.
Brent never called me back so i decided to eat a steak and run in the mean time. Finally called brent and made plans to meet up at Mariano's Tavern at 9:30. That would give us a half-hour before the karaoke goes down so we would be able to get a place to sit.

Once we got seated the lady came around to ask us what we wanted. i thought i'd be cool and get a water with a lemon slice and of course brent got a Guinness. After a bit brent ordered a tuna on a kaiser roll. The sandwich also came with a side of potato chips, below you can see brent enjoying a chip.
Seeing brent made it tempting to get something for myself but i told myself i would fight the temptation and not order any food, because i'm fat and if i really need something to eat i can wait until i get back home to raid the refrigerator. To help fight the temptation i ordered a coors light.

When the karaoke finally got running it seemed like the same couple guys kept going. Our table was next to some older ladies. Brent called the the Golden Girls. Not sure where that came from because there was three of them and not four...Two of these ladies looked like they were in their mid-fifties and the third looked like she was in her mid-forties. The on in her forties was completely obnoxious. Whenever a guy was singing a song she would stand up behind them and read the lyrics, dance a little, and stumble all over the place. She then decided to sing a Carly Simon song, You're So Vain. It was probably the worst attempt at singing a song i've ever heard. My one friend sang this song and it was a million times better than this intoxicated chicks attempt. The chick wouldn't stop drinking either when it was obvious she has had enough.
Besides a couple bartenders at Mariano's, there is this one guy that is always at the bar. Not sure what his name is but we're going to call him Bob. If you looked up 'regular' in the dictionary it would have a picture of Bob next to the definition. To top if off, you're guaranteed to hear him sing while you're sipping on a drink of your choice. He's also tone deaf but he has a lot of soul...so it balances out.
Brent still owes me like to karaoke songs as i have done a couple songs in the past but he's just too chicken to do it. One of these days i'll get him so intoxicated he'll think he's a super star and i'll have to drag him away from the mic. Brent and i thought maybe we could could adrianne to sing a song, but she doesn't even talk and getting her to do a song was pretty much impossible. Since i have never seen a picture of brent and adrianne together i thought i'd take a nice picture of them. Of course when i take a picture brent isn't smiling and adrianne looks away...oh well, maybe next time. At least brent looks 'normal' without his nasty dreads.

Pro Health Yo

If you're not using Crest Pro Health toothpaste you have to throw away whatever you're using, and grab a tube of this sweet toothpaste. It has that clean mint flavor that everyone likes and it doesn't have any crazy colors like other toothpaste. The dye they use to color toothpaste can't be good for you.

Pro Health makes brushing your teeth fun! Well, maybe not. i guess it isn't that great...there is probably crack in it or something and thats the reason i can't get enough of it. This toothpaste has a gritty texture to it, kind of like baking soda. That's a good time, using baking soda for toothpaste. Apparently it makes you mouth smell like poo but i've never had that experience.

Quack Quack

My dad noticed we have a new neighbor by the house. A duck, that has two eggs by one of the windows of the house. Kind of a little random, at least it isn't a Goose nest...i'd be tempted to smash the eggs or at least shoot the mother while she was chillin on her nest. Since the ducks don't seem to be a threat to the yard i guess i can leave them alone.

i was out looking for the eggs earlier today and didn't see them, and i haven't seen the duck for awhile. Wonder what happened to them, probably packed their things and moved to Georgia to take advantage of the College Scholarships they off there. i saw it...i mean my friend saw something about it on the HGtv channel, Deserving Design.

Kind of hard to see the duck, but its there. Hanging out under the bush, pretty nice real estate if you ask me.

Racked The Merlot

Six days have passed since i started the primary fermentation of the Merlot and was time to rack it into the carboy. No one was around today so i had to do everything myself but it wasn't that big of a deal. Probably could have racked the wine the day before but i got home late and i was too tired to do anything other than sleep.

First thing i did was take a specific gravity reading. It was 0.992, which is kind of low and probably won't get any lower as the yeast has probably killed itself off from all the alcohol it has produced. Not sure if its a big deal how fast the yeast does its thing, i guess i'll find out in 4 months when its ready to drink.

i can't stand cleaning everything, i wish i could just befriend someone that just likes to clean and invite them over when i need the wine junx cleaned. Alas, i haven't found anyone yet...Oh well, now just another 11 days until the clearing chemicals are put in. Woot.

Easter Party Palooza

First thing i did on Sunday was hit up the 8 am service. It's been awhile since i have gotten up that early but staying awake didn't seem to be a problem while sitting during the sermon. It was mostly about why there were two thieves chillin on the two crosses on either side of jesus.

After the church thing i went straight to my bed and took a two and half hour nap. i need to make sure i was rested for the Easter Egg hunt. It is pretty intense every year. Though last year i didn't do to well, i got a bunch of panera bread gift cards. i don't even know where panera bread is.

i didn't arrive at the house until 1:50pm, i was told to be there at 1:30 pm but my nap lasted longer than i meant it to. Turned out a bunch of people weren't there yet when i arrived so the food was just hanging out in the kitchen for a good 30 minutes before the rest of the guests showed up. After the early dinner everyone just hung out and talked a bit.

Brent actually stuck around a bit after the meal, which was nice because he usually peaces family gatherings as soon as possible unless he has brought a lady to the shindig. Before the egg hunt got started Brent left, he didn't want anything to do with the Egg Hunt. i tried to convince him to participate because he could find cash in the eggs that would then pay for his next beer. He then came back with that he has a 'job' and he doesn't need a few bones found in eggs because he makes 'blah blah blah' a month. Fine, more eggs for this guy! Here is josh, he always has to say something to make fun of me. One of his comments was that Carter (JR and Megan's baby) and i do the same thing everyday...bastard. Austin and Rach. Austin doesn't seem to like the camera...
Here is Winston, he's due for a bath and hair cut. Carter was not a fan of him, i thought all babies liked dogs...i just wanted a picture of Winston, but bekah had to get in the frame and do something weird...
Sometime after 4pm the Egg Hunt finally got started. We were told there would only be candy and cash eggs and there would not be crazy slips of paper with numbers in the eggs that corresponded to bags with gift cards like there usually are. The money to be had were some ones, fives, tens, and one twenty dollar bill. i was determined to grab that egg with the Andrew Jackson inside.

There is actually a few techniques to proper egg hunting. No matter how cold it is outside, don't wear a jacket it'll just slow you down. If you get cold you're not running around fast enough. When you bend down to pick up an egg, bend at the knees and lean forward so that you can easily sprint to the next egg location. The most crucial, is to throw a hip check towards other egg hunters when snatching the egg. What also helps is to watch where the adults hide the eggs.

We were only allowed to pick up 11 eggs this year. Last year i think it was 12, and for some reason there were 8 'bonus' eggs that could be picked up after everyone has collected their 11.
i of course picked up a 12th egg before i was told everyone had collected their 11 eggs. You snooze you lose, and since i did so horribly during the egg hunt last year i thought i would just help myself to an extra one before we were allowed to.
The house soon turns into a chicken coop minus the chickens and the eggs are colored because everyone just throws their eggs once they crack open its contents. The first egg i opened had some candy and a one dollar bill...it wasn't a good start but the next egg also had another dollar bill. The next couple eggs only had candy in them. i was about to think i stuck out with no more eggs in cash in them until i opened the largest yellow egg in my bag....there was a bill in it, Andrew Jackson! i knew i was going to find him! The last couple eggs contained some more candy and one more with a dollar bill in it. My total cash winnings was 23 bones. Not too bad, good enough for a few rounds of beers.

After all the eggs were opened, Uncle Gary broke out a bag with a bunch of lame knick knacks and office supplies that companies give out at conventions or something that he went to. One of the items was a stapleless stapler that did not use staples. Can you even call it a stapler that doesn't use staples? It was a pretty crazy device. Some how it punches a hole in the paper and then tucks a flap of the paper into a hole...its hard to explain you'll just have to find one and see it for yourself. Of course it doesn't work was well as staples but it gets the job done and its environmentally friendly.

When it came to my turn to pick out one of these cheesy give aways, i picked the carabiner multi-tool in blue. It has a flashlight, bottle opener, and a clipping thing...pretty much everything you'll ever need. i guess the only thing cooler than this would be the Guppie just because it has a knife, wrench, and a couple different screws drivers. i'm still happy with my inferior multi-tool.

Here is the carabiner light in action...Austin got one too.
Apparently Josh and Abby have been playing violin together and josh thought he would share one of the few songs he has learned. It was pretty painful, at least it looks like he knows what he's doing.Every family gathering with this family, there has to be a lame photo taken with the four sisters. Here it is with some ridiculous flowers.
Buttons...
Clarence...
The girls use to have another cat, Cindy. That was the cool cat because if you ever fell asleep in the house, you would wake up with Cindy sleeping on your chest. But Cindy ran away and is probably dead, rotting in the woods somewhere.

Everyone left around 7pm. i on the other hand thought i would overstay my welcome since i haven't seen these kids for awhile. i finally left around 8:10 to come home to find out that i had missed the Simpsons...bummer, should have left earlier.

To The Diner

After everyone bounced from the Easter dinner, brent messaged me and said he wanted to get something to eat. His restuarant of choice was Michael's Restaurant. Pretty sure i've never been here before but i've heard good things from brent and other people so i was willing to give it a try even though i wasn't hungry. Turns out my sister ria worked there according to my dad a million years ago as a host.
Sorry for the blurry picture, i'm no professional photographer. Brent arrived at the diner a little bit before me. We walked in and ask for non-smoking. The guy asked if a table was okay rather than a booth, and before i could answer brent said a table would be fine. While i was thinking, "no! if i got to a place that has booths, i want a booth!". Its pretty much the rule when going to a diner with a small party, you have to sit at a booth. Oh well, i guess i'll live. We sat down and our waitress was kind of rude, and she didn't refill my glass of water. i wasn't going to order anything but while looking at the very extensive menu i saw something that caught my eye, the Greek Gyro. Not quite sure what other kind of gyros there but i had to have one. Its the closest thing to a shawarma i can get, and boy do i enjoy my shawarmas.

Brent took his healthy root as usualy and got some mozzarella sticks and a burger. The mozzarella sticks were massive, like they were the largest sticks i've ever seen in my life. i wanted to try one but i kept telling myself i'm fat and i don't need a deep fried piece of cheese. The gyro i had was pretty much amazing, just as good as the ones i use to get at the grease trucks in philly. The only thing that would have made that second dinner more enjoyable was if our waitress was a little more friendly. i'm sure she just wasn't having a fantastic day and she is much more enjoyable on other days.

Early Easter Dinner

Every year my mom has her Easter dinner the day before Easter. Because everyone already has plans Easter Day. Easter was a little different this year, my sister's and their family were not here so i didn't have my six nieces and nephews climbing on me before and after dinner like i'm some kind of organic jungle gym. One of their favorite things to do is to sit on my feet, and they ask me to walk around like i'm some ride at an amusement park...

i didn't get a Easter basket this year...i guess i'm too old to get an basket, sniff. Not only was i kind of saddened from the fact that i didn't get a basket, i had to look at this thing every time i walked into the kitchen...
This has got to be one of the scariest ceramic objects in our house. Of course my mom thinks its cute but it has to be the scariest pig ever. It looks like a pig that died, got buried, dug himself out, killed a chef at a french restaurant, and jacked his clothes.

This was my uncles' and aunts' first time having ham, they said they liked it a lot. Usually when they pig, its your typical roast pig drenched in some red bbq sauce.
My mom cooked up a storm. On the table there was egg rolls, salad, ham, corn, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, and fried rice.
i wasn't really feeling the picture moment so i went head and started helping myself to the ham. i thought brent was going to eat a lot but he didn't to my disappointment. Turned out he had just woken up a little before dinner and this was really his lunch and it wouldn't be long until he got his second dinner.

First Day of Spring

Well today is the first day of Spring. Just like every first day of spring Rita's Water Ice gives out delicious free cups of water ice. i missed it today. Probably didn't think about it because it was 40 degrees with 15 mph winds gusting to 20 mph. It being too cold out is probably not a good enough reason to get free water ice...i was making a good run too, i have received my cup of free water ice for the past 2 years. i know, not very impressive...i guess my streak was cut short. Bummer...

The Merlot

Since the Shiraz that i brewed is ready to drink it won't be long until we give away those bottle or consume so might as well start another batch of red to add to the 'wine cellar'. This time we decided to do something boring and make a batch of Merlot.

Brent messaged me and told me he would be over so i would have some help making the junx. Which is always a good thing...its kind of boring if you do everything by yourself. Plus it lets me take these sweet action wine making shots.

Here brent is rinsing the juice bag with some water to get as much juice into the primary fermenter as possible.
Topping up the bucket to the fill line...Here brent is trying to be funny and look like he's taking a sip of the juice. But when he up the spoon down some juice actually splashed in his mouth and he then had a sour look on his face...jokes on him. Here he have just added the yeast and put the bucket in the warmest room in the house to help the yeast do its thing. The specific gravity of this batch was 1.080. i found a website that will convert your first and final SG reading to the alcohol by volume. Of course i have no idea how accurate it is. They site gave me totally different values than the ones that i calculated. Whatever, as long as i get a buzz with my meal.

i miss calculated the number of days that the wine will be fermenting and turns out i won't be around to further the wine process when it needs to so it'll ferment for an extra week before i come back. Oh well, the reds have been fermenting slowing anyway, might do it a little good.

After the wine was all done and i cleaned a few things brent said he was going to bounce. What?? You can't just wine and dash in this house. We decided to watch a movie. i was even kind enough to nuke brent some hot dogs. The movie of choice was Grindhouse Death Proof. It was a pretty ridiculous movie. Of course with Quentin Tarantino being the directore there were several references to Pulp Fiction. Brent can't be away from a computer for more than 5 minutes so during the whole movie he was typing away on his eeepc. Its no power house pc but for the price and its size its a good second laptop to carry around. Overall Death Proof was a good movie. Now i'll have to watch Planet Terror just so i can say i watched Grindhouse.

March 17th - Real St. Patrick's Day

i partied pretty hard on Saturday and thought i would take it easy for awhile. But i got a message from manthan about some crazy bar. He heard about it from a teacher at his school. The Irish Rover or something in Penndel. Turns out she's in a band and they were playing there. She also said that they had green beer and specials on cabbage and corned beef. i didn't feel like driving over there so i invited my dad to come along. Then he invited the whole vietnamese gang but only uncle Tam wanted to go.

The woman manthan knew, Joy, said that there is always a big crowd at this bar and most of the people there are our age. Which i couldn't believe, i could imagine a bunch of kids going to a tiny bar listening to a live band playing old school irish songs. But sure enough when we got there most of the people there were under 30.
Above is Joy with her husband...they sure look like a couple of characters. When the four of us got there we sat a table and got a couple bottles of yuengling. After that we got to two pitchers of Guinness. To eat we ordered fries, wings, and some sandwiches. i got the corned beef because Joy talked it up so much. But it was pretty bad, i've had way better. At least the wings were really good. We hung around Rover's for about 2 hours before leaving.

When we were about the head out the band had stopped playing and a guy came in with his bagpipes and started doing his thing. i actually liked the bagpipes more than the band.
While manthan was driving towards my house earlier, he noticed that Reed's was having $1 Guinness Drafts...even though we were pretty tired by the time we got back from Irish Rovers...we couldn't pass up $1 Guinness let alone $1 anything. It could have been one dollar Natural Light and i would have been there. Well, maybe that is pushing it. But if it was Blue Ribbon i wouldn't even consider it. i can't stand that junx.

Anyway, i made manthan drive there because i was parked in. When we got to Reed's it was pretty much empty. Maybe give or take 30 people were there. But there was $1 Guinness and that was all we were there for. Oh and to people watch of course.

While sitting at the bar, a girl came up to our left and asked for some bottles of Miller Lite...WHAT? Miller Light for 4.50 bones rather than Guinness for a dollar?? That was just too crazy so Manthan asked her what that was all about. She gave him a little attitude and said that she didn't like Guinness. i'm not saying Guinness is the best beer in the world but it doesn't taste horrible and it has less calories than Corona. Basically Manthan's attempt to talk to a girl failed...

i soon consumed enough Guinness to make my firs trip to the bathroom. When i got back manthan decided to talk to another two girls. That was a failure too. Not sure what he was thinking. Since i broke the seal i had to visit the bathroom again. When i got back manthan decided to talk to another girl that was drinking by herself. She was wearing a pretty crazy sweater, something a grandma would wear and her head was shaved. i didn't come to the bar to meet people, i just wanted some cheap booze. i soon heard more than i need to know about this girl. Though she was a lot nicer than the girls manthan talked to earlier. She works two jobs; one as a photographer that does school photos with her mom, and she also works for Petco.

Since she works for Petco she has to have a million pets...which she does. She has three ferrets, a python, eight rats...i lost track after that but i'm sure she has some more like some cats and lizards. She then started telling us how guys are stupid and went into her guy problems. If there is one thing i don't want to hear about when i first start talking to a girl, its their guy problems. Do i look like Dr. Phil? So i soon swiveled my chair around when she started talking about that and left manthan to take over that conversation while i kept ordering more Guinness.

It was about midnight when manthan and i peaced Reed's and headed to the house. We grabbed one more beer from the fridge and played some pool. Of course i won the first game..i broke the second game but scratched and manthan wanted to count that as a win. Which is just ridiculous. He did so many "re-do's", it hardly seemed fair. Basically he's a sore loser. i then won the third game...but we all know if we actually played the second game i would have won that one too. Manthan soon passed out and i was left to entertain myself while i finished my beer and then headed to bed. Overall it was a good day...though i've consumed way too many carbs of beer in the past three days. Have to stop drinking that junx and start running again before i get obese again.

The Cellar

Well three days have passed since Brent and i have bottled the Pinot Blanc and it was time to store the bottles on their sides in the wine rack. Looks pretty fancy if you as me when the rack is mostly filled up. The wine in the right most columns are read to drink. So far i have about 96 bottles of wine. My dad said something about buying another rack to stack on top of this one...if only the wine tasted good it might be worth it.
i was bored and though i'd color the white walls purple...

St. Patrick's Day!

Woke up at 8am, running on four hours of sleep. i knew the day was going to be awesome. i had a miserable sleep too, rich's room was freezing. At least the floor was, i thought i was laying on a giant sheet of ice. It was hard too.

Since i was awake, thought i'd go ahead and get ready to head out. John was already showered and ready to go when i walked into the tv room and joel was actually sleeping...i was sure he was going to play Smash Bros all night. i forgot to bring a banana with me. i was told by a wise Irishman, while eating a cheese steak at Pat's King of Steaks, that college kids don't know how to drink in a serious Irish accent. He then said what you have to do before a day of drinking is to eat a banana to coat the lining of your stomach and then drink a tall glass of water to hydrate you. Then, between every drink you have take a shot of water and you can drink forever...or something like that. i didn't have a banana, so i decided to have a beer.
Rich took forever to get ready, he didn't even know i slept in his room. i'm a ninja like that. So to help pass the time i had a second beer, thinking the more i drink here the less i'll spend during the day, hopefully. We didn't leave the apartment until 9:15 am. At least i got out earlier than the previous week.

Our first stop was the deliciousness that is Wawa for some sandwiches...on the way there we saw an asian kid on a scooter...joel said that was him freshman year scooter-ing everywhere, they were both asian so they looked a like to.
The first bar was Cavanaugh's again. When doing the Erin Express you have to start at Cav's, they did start this thing 20 years ago. i thought today was just going to be the Erin Express but recently found out that St. Patrick's day isn't going to be on the 17th this year because the Catholic Church is gangsta and didn't want St. Patty's falling on the monday of the holy week. This hasn't been done since the 1940's, little fun fact for you...though you probably already knew that.

At Cav's i didn't see as many crazies as last week but i did catch this guy with the mohawk and clover shaved in his head...
After consuming a few pitches of yuengling and guiness i ran into one of my roommates from sophomore year. Haven't seen Tony for like over a year, that's another great thing about the Erin Express...you run into people you haven't seen in awhile, just hope you don't run into people you don't want to see. Tony might have had a few drinks before snapping this photo...After finishing our pitchers it was time to head a block away to the next bar, Blarney Stone. Blarney Stone is a little crazy because the bar is really small, so they rent some fences and fence off a section of the street outside to expand the bar with numerous port-a-potties. Several places to buy over priced beer within the fenced in area. A six pack was 22 bones, at least the cans were 16 oz. but thats still pretty silly. Joel didn't drink his so that was more booze for me.Wasn't long until i ran into another person i haven't seen for awhile, Kim. She had two beers at this point and said she was already tanked...ridiculous. i wish i could get buzzed on two beers. One of the many pictures taken below...Time for the next bar, Smokey Joe's! Smokey Joe's is just close enough to just walk there and not take the free yellow buses.Apparently rich get violent after a few beers and he charged me...At Smokey Joe's we met up with manthan and lily. Now you may think you have some crazy green thing in your city, but you're not cool unless you have a green beer. So i went ahead and got a pitcher of green beer (Coors with some green food coloring). It was actually pretty lame but at least i can say i had one, too bad i didn't get a good picture of it.Since the odds of an indian knowing another indian are pretty high, whenever an indian walks by when i'm around manthan i always ask him if he knows them. He doesn't appreciate it very much, but this time when i asked if he knew this indian girl that walked by us...just so happen he did! It was his cousin! i knew it was just a matter of time before he knew one.
Ran into Terry and Nicole while getting on the bus to the next stop, haven't seen them for a while either.

The next bar was Tom Hagen's Tavern, we just had one beer here...
The bus out of there took forever, and i was hungry...what would be a better time to eat my lollipop with a scorpion in the center?! While waiting manthan talked to a group of some random girls, one of them said to me,"what's in your lollipop?". "A scorpion". "Ewww, maybe you shouldn't tell anyone that.." And then they stopped talking to us. To think, all this time i thought chicks digged guys that were sucking on scorpions.
While waiting for the bus, manthan decided to go back in the bar and get another beer...while he was in there with lily the bus came and we missed it waiting for him. Bastard. No one felt like waiting 20 more minutes for the next bus so we decided to walk to the next bar, Parkway Bar & Grille. We were all pretty hungry when we got there and went into a deli next door for some food. i was so hungry i squeezed a bunch of mustard on a knife and ate it. manthan did it too but just wasn't as cool as when i did it.
rich got bored and started playing with the salt shaker...
For food i got the hot pastrami sandwich with rye bread...love me some pastrami.
We weren't the only drunks in the deli, there were a group of four guys too. They thought they would be cool and unscrew the pepper and moved to another table so when the waitress cleaned the table the pepper would spill everywhere. Total bastards. After finishing our food we headed next door to bar number five.
While here we sipped on some more miller lite and when we were ready to leave we ran into Pat (aka Jarvis). My crew coach from freshman year. He's pretty mean and he was drunk by this point so he said hello to manthan by slapping him several times. Asked me what i wanted to drink several times, and when i said i wanted a miller he said there was no need to be hostile (and i wasn't) and be got 6 miller lites for all of us. Pat is so nice to take photos of.
We soon lost pat and his group and we started walking. We didn't know where we were going but thought we would head towards center city. While walking i broke out the scorpion again, i had it in my pocket...here you can see i finally got to the scorpion and its resting on my tongue before getting consumed. It didn't really taste like anything. It was kind of crunchy...i hope the stinger wasn't still on it.
John was hungry again so we stopped into Qdoba. While rich, john, and i were there manthan and lily went across the street to hit up another bar. After john was done eating we met back up with manthan and lily and headed back towards university city. We were going to go to another bar, Slainte, but the wanted a 5 bone cover..forget that. Not paying a cover on St. Patty's day, that's just silly. So we kept walking until we got back on Drexel's campus. While walking past Mario the Magnificent...he grabbed my head with his claw.
Lily bounced to meet up with some other friends and the rest of us went back to John and Rich's apartment and ordered some food. i took a short nap because i was beat. Graham soon arrived with jules and asked if we wanted to see a movie. Manthan was about to go home, but when he was just out the door he got invited to hang out with some girls he had just said 'hi' to and decided to stay a little bit longer. He chilled at the apartment while five of us went to The Bridge to see 10,000 BC. As usual we were the only non-black people in the movie theater. A woman sitting a few seats over from rich was nice enough to talk on her phone for an hour during the movie. People were constantly getting up out of their seats leaving, and coming back in. You would think that everyone would try to pay attention to the movie since they did pay a ridiculous 12 bones per ticket. The movie wasn't spectacular either.

After the movie we headed back to the apartment, watched the tube a bit...john wasn't there and he said i could crash on his bed, once 2am rolled around i hopped in that bed and passed out. Slept like a baby...
