Another Day

Friday and Saturday were pretty uneventful, but i'm going to blog about them anyway. It rained the first couple days when i arrived. The next couple days to follow were fantastic, a nice 85 degrees. When the 18th rolled around i got to experience a Shamal (sandstorm). It was pretty nasty, sand all up in the place. Where ever you look its like there is a sepia filter over your eyes. The only extreme weather i was missing was hail, which has only happened twice when i lived in Saudi.
Another picture of the devil cat Saudi. Here you can see the spot that resembles Arabia. When she was younger she would never let me get this close to her, mostly because i would try to catch her and roll her up in a blanket...
Another 'must see' place was the barber shop. Here the gay Filipinos know how to cut hair. The hair cut costs 13 Saudi Riyals which is like 3.47 bones. To fill up your car with gas over here, its 40 SR which equates to a little over 10 dollars...67 cents per gallon! The price of oil now is like $118 a barrel...gas is 3.52 bones back home...lemon.
The next stop on our list was the Career Development people, and Matt just happened to work there too so we went to see what his office was like. Pretty depressing, and the 15 inch CRT monitor makes me want to cry.
