The Mix-Stir

i finally gave in. i told myself i didn't need to buy a fancy stirrer for mixing the wine and that if i need one i could make my own and attach it to an electric drill, but alas i am lazy son and i never got around to doing it. As a stirrer i've been using this glass rod from the siphon, which probably is not that safe.

While on a run to the post office, we stopped by the Brew Store and picked up this bad boy, the Mix-Stir. i'll be able to see it in action tomorrow, if the fermentation is done, when i add the fining agents to the wine and to degas it as well. i'll just attach this bad boy to a drill and BAM! Instant whirlpool of wine.
