So Many Parties

i admit i got a little intoxicated the two days prior to Sunday. But the parties just kept coming. Mike was having a graduation party...not sure what he was thinking having it on father's day, but fortunately for me i celebrated it the day before so it didn't reall affect me. While getting ready, i got a call from joe. He was having a grad party as well!

Silly kids having parties on the same day. joe was my roommate sophmore year, and he did call me twice about coming so i kind of felt compelled to go. It was a family grad party so there wasn't going to be beer pong...but i knew there was going to be delicious food there. i had not eaten all day so i stuffed myself with four ribs, 3 pulled pork sandwiches, some rice, and this weird green beans noodle mixture. The rice and greens were pretty horrible but the pig was delicious.

After eating, for some reason joe wanted to throw a frisbee. Sounded better than talking to people i didn't know so i joined him. He couldn't find his 'good' frisbee so all we had to work with was this ridiculous free General Electric disc that his mom had picked up at work. It worked i guess.
i left joe's after a couple hours. i called manthan to tell him i was heading to mike's party and he told me he would meet me there. About 30 minutes later i arrive to the next party destination. i call manthan and he hasn't even left the house yet. Worst time managment ever. i always feel kind of weird walking into a party by myself...so i thought i'd wait for a bit. Lucky me there was a park across the street. i was pretty sweaty from the car ride so i figured it would be good if i cooled off for a bit. Lucky me the bench i went to sit at had a condom wrapper under it. i stood there for a bit thinking if i should sit down or not...there was another bench but it was like 20 ft away...so i went ahead and sat down next to the fun condom wrapper.
Thirty minutes later i couldn't wait for manthan any longer so i headed into party. By this time it was 7:30...everyone that was there had been drinking since 4pm. Ridiculous...Manthan showed up 20 more minutes later and decided to order a stromboli, vegetarian of course.
It was an interesting night. There were water balloons thrown and drunk people making fools of themselves. i on the other hand along with manthan just stayed at the pong table, dominating of course. Around 10 pm one of the housemates flipped out because a drunk kid had broken a radiator in the house by falling on top of it. It amazing how worthless drunks are. So a small 'fight' broke out and the housemate ended the party. Luckily the neighbors said they would continue the party, but they didn't do anything. i ended up having to carry the keg three stories to the deck, clean the deck, get cups, ask for a tap, grab ice, find a pitcher, pet the dog, and i think that's about it. The whole process of moving the party took about 30 minutes.

From the deck you could climb a latter to the roof of the next house over. i've never been on a house roof in philly before so i couldn't pass this chance up. Turned out it wasn't as exciting as i was expecting...mostly because the view was horrible...and that fact that i'm scared of heights did not help either.

manthan and i continued to win the pong games. We were unstoppable, pretty much like the incredible hulk.Met a couple new guys at the party. Like tom, his biceps were massive...literally the same thickness as my thigh. But i'm still taller than him so i had that going for me. i can also catch a football better than him while being intoxicated which i found out later.
Here's the dog i petted, a mutt named Champ. He was very friendly...
Seems like manthan's mission at every party is to meet a girl. Tonights girl was katie, the party before it was kim. For myself, i find it more enjoyable to go out to have fun rather than meet people.
That was pretty much my weekend, 4 parties in 3 days...i haven't consumed that much beer since Erin Express. i'm going to need a new liver soon. Any donors?
