Randomly the other night my Dad wanted to go check out some Christmas lights even though it was after New Years day. He wanted to check out two houses in Ambler and he failed to mention that they may not have their lights up anymore.
The first house we visited had cleaned up all their decorations. The second house however still had their hodge podge of decor. Everything from Frosty to cute Baby Jesus. There was even a castle with Mickey Mouse hanging out in it.
As you can see, the house is not that big, so I wonder where they store all this ridiculous decor during the rest of the year.
Good thing we checked this place out, because apparently its the last year the Drelicks are doing this. All the the Christmas stuff is up for sale. They've been doing this for 28 years! Can't imagine how much money was spent on energy for this thing all those years.
I kind of felt like a creeper walking up their driveway taking pictures, but what am I suppose to do?
They even had a fancy "guest book" booth with a map and lights. This guy has to be an electrical engineer or something.
Even though it was cold and wet out that night, it was nice to get one last bit of the Christmas season before all that junk in their yard was retired.
