Checkin' Out the Country Side

Our neighbors dog 'messed up' (what my mom likes to call it) with my cousin's dog and had three puppies! This is the cooler of the three. i forget what jack named him..i want to say jimmy but it might be franky. i didn't put him there he just crawled in my lap and fell asleep. UGH, i want a puppy so bad!
Here we are going to the market! i'm riding with Tin.
My mom bought anna a fancy Santa Claus outfit. It is so ridiculous. It has a picture of a Santa on it but he's green! What is that all about?! Looks like mrs. claus was messing around with some elves if you ask me.
i think today was cheri's birthday. Well, at least the picture below was taken on her birthday. i decided to make mojitos. They were pretty good. i didn't have any simple syrup so i used sugar cane juice instead. It worked but you had to add more sugar cane juice than simple syrup since there is not as much sugar in sugar cane juice. Who would have thought?
Okay, i totally mixed up these photos. My dad, steve, cheri, and i rented scooters again and went up the mountain in Chau Doc. Its pretty sweet because you can see over the border into Cambodia. During the rainy season all these fields are flooded...i think. Alright i don't know what i'm talking about.
You don't want to know what i did to get this picture. But i'll tell you anyway! i laid my camera on another animal at this park and put the timer on! Pretty good for one try right?
On our way back down the mountain we stopped by this resort. Apparently this wealthy guy had it built but never opened it and sold it to the Victoria Hotel here in town. They fixed it up a bit but didn't finish it. i think they're waiting until they get more people customers staying at their hotel or something.

There are warning signs all over this place asking to watch for cobras...awesome. Didn't phase me though. The other side of this delicious green pool is a 50 foot drop.
i found a fire extinguisher! i'm sure it was expired so i pulled the pin and gave it ago. i forgot how low these things were. It didn't work very well...
In this picture my dad is giving steve and i a little history lesson. Showing us where the communists came in and all that stuff when he was staying here. Pretty crazy stuff. Looks more like a Lion King moment, "And this will all be mine?...everything the light touches".
