Heading back to Chau Doc

Too bad we couldn't take a bus back to vietnam. Had to go by boat again. At least we were going down river this time which should knock off about an hour of traveling time. Lucky me i had a fully charged ipod and laptop to keep me entertained!

You're probably wondering why i have a picture of four arms from Ben 10. Halfway around the globe and i still can't escape the cartoon network? i actually took this picture for rich.
We spent our last morning in Phnom Penh looking for paintings. i wanted something with water buffalo. i like them and i think it has something to do with me born in the year of the Ox and also being a Taurus. What liking water buffalo didn't have something to do with was these crazy bug bites all over my legs. They were so sick nasty. i thought i had some terminal illness i was going to die any minute. They didn't really itch but it hurt when they were touched. i don't think i've had bug bites like this before. They even pussed a little bit..tmi? eh, whatever.
After getting our paintings we then took a tuk tuk to the crazy market. This place is massive and its divided into several sections and categories. If you want electronics you go to one section, if you want t shirts you go to another, if you want jewelry you head for the center of the market.
Here is a picture from the center of the market looking out into of the wings.
While my dad and i were walking around the place we found our way in the jewelry repair place. It was kind of awkward because we were like the only non-cambodians there.
While at the Vietnam customs on the river i saw me some water buffalo! i don't know what it is about them, they just look so chill i wish i could have one for a pet.

While waiting for our visas to get processes we ran into the same girls that tried to sell us stuff on the way up! They all called me 'an op' (sp?)...which means baby uncle. Lucky me. Probably can't see it in this photo even if you enlarge it but my eye was so swollen. It was so irritated you have no idea. i think it was due to some dust in my eye put its probably some crazy disease i contracted.
peace out!
