We Can't Stop Here, This is Bat Country!

Today was a boring ride. We were on Route 66 for a little bit but then it disappeared and we had to hop back onto I-40 to Williams, AZ and then shoot straight up north on 64 to the grand canyon.

We took a couple of stops before reaching the Grand Canyon. At this one gas station there was a car with a crazy paint job. Reminded me of michelle's old phone because it was purple and when you moved it around it would fade into green and all kinds of crazy colors.

In the parking lot i found this ginormous grasshopper thing. It was so fat it couldn't even jump very well. Crazy Arizonian bugs..
Once we got to hour hotel i thought i'd check my rear tire. Its pretty worn down and has a few cracks in it. Probably not the safest thing to be riding on. My dad checked a few bike shops and not only are there no shops near us....the ones he did find don't have the tire i need.

Finally my dad found a dealer in Santa Fe with the tire i need so i just have to survive for 2 or 3 more days.
For dinner we hit up the buffet at the Quality Inn for about 20 bones. The salad bar was really good with all kind of crazy fruits and salads.
The main courses on the other hand were pretty lame. i could have cooked up something better.
Yeah, not really an exciting day. But sure to see some cool stuff tomorrow!
