The Cask of Amontillado

After two batches of wine i'm starting to have a little collection. Sure its not that special, but a couple more batches and i'll be able to bathe in my wine whenever i want! Then bottle it again and give them out as gifts...

We have 20 bottles left of the Shiraz which should taste pretty good by the ninth of March, and 28 bottles of the Muller-Thurgau. Been looking at some wine racks, a good site is wine racks America. One of the racks on the site hold 180 bottles but costs 300 bones...I'm too lazy to build my own wine rack, plus it would probably just fall apart and i would just have a pool of booze juice with shards of glass in it...

Right now the wine is sitting in a random storage closet in the basement, though there are a bunch of paint cans in that room too and the fumes from those cans are likely to change the taste of the wine so those should probably be moved, there there isn't any other place for them right now. At least the temperature of that closet is ideal. Wine should be kept in the range of 11 to 17 degrees Celsius and that closet happens to be 57.1 Fahrenheit or 13.9444 C.

i haven't put in any extra sulphite in the wine either which you're suppose to if you're going to store the wine over 6 months to prevent oxidation...i have no idea what i'm doing, i just want to get crunked..
