I'll Miss You Video Cassette Recorder....

i loved my vcr. i would set the timer and record my favorite tv shows...who needs DVR when i have this classic vcr working just fine? sure the video quality is diminished and it doesn't have a fancy menu, but it was there in the beginning... It never tore up any tapes nor did it fail to record or play anything that i wished to watch. but, a few months ago i went to eject a tape out of old VC...(okay, maybe that isn't a good nick name, victor charlie?) and the tape wouldn't eject! After many years of service it finally crapped out on me...it still played the tape and i could record on it...just couldn't eject it.

Took it apart and saw whatever pushes up the tape wasn't doing its job. i then asked my dad to 'take a look at it' and next thing i know he's stabbing the vcr with a screw driver. He ripped the tape but got it out, and then parts in the vcr that were moving before weren't moving anymore...i guess this is the end. i've been losing so many things lately i could write a country song...
