Ooooo Fancy

i was really bored today, so i decided to figure out this label deal for the wine bottles. Whipped out my handy ruler that i've had since sophomore year in high school and measured the label which was 3.44" by 4.63"...plugged those dimensions into Word, cut out a piece of paper that size as a draft...threw it in the printer to see if it the printer would even roll it in. It worked!

Then tried printing on an actual label, when i print in another color it cuts off the second line of words, but everything looks fine when printed in black. The only problem is that you can't really read some of the text because it blends in with the picture on the label.

Next step was to clean the bottle, moisten the label and stick it on. Of course nothing works out perfectly and the text that i printed got smeared on the label. Heated a sleeve on the top and it looks pretty fancy. Now it just looks like i bought the bottle...Lemon. The bottles should sit upright for another day for the corks to properly seal and can then be stored on their side and site for 1 to 3 months before tasting its hopefully delicious taste.

Printers do not print white. White is the absence of ink in the CMYK color scheme (which is what is used in printing). So white becomes the color of your paper.

Black is the analog to this in the RGB color scheme. Black is the absence of light. So the darkest black that can be achieved on a monitor or TV screen is the darkness of the screen when no light is emitted.
